Natural Eggshells, gathered from non endangered species are used here at

Tigger's Creations. Only eggs that are non-fertile are used.

No birds are killed in pursuit of this art form.

NOTE: It is illegal to gather any eggs from the wild, even to pick up a sparrow egg that has fallen from the nest in your own yard. All of our shells are drained and sanitized from hatcheries that sell infertile eggs for this purpose.

Any piece of egg art can take hours, days, weeks even months to complete. From design planning, selection of the perfect shell, carving, findings and embellishments.

Larger shells are quite sturdy. Most smaller shells are reinforced with resin so with reasonable care the shells you purchase today should still be your families pride and joy for many years to come.
